We manufacture and service desiccant dehumidification systems. It is used to control humidity in commercial buildings and industrial processes by using a desiccant to remove moisture from the air.

Dehumidification system - how it works?

The incoming process airstream gives off its moisture to the desiccant. When the processed air leaves the wheel, it becomes dry. The wheel laden with humidity, rotates slowly into a second, small airstream which has been heated.

This more diminutive exhaust airstream, known as regeneration air, warms the desiccant. The warmed desiccant gives off its moisture which is then carried away by the regeneration air. The incipiently dried desiccant material is rotated back into the process air, where it absorbs moisture once again. Desiccant dehumidification systems have become increasingly popular in recent years because of lower equipment costs achieved through economies of scale, modular designs, and the utilisation of desiccant silica gel wheels. It should be noted that whereas the regeneration heat in the pristine desiccant systems was engendered by burning natural gas, fully electric desiccant systems are now available. These desiccant systems are prodigiously efficient and simple in that they utilise repudiated heat from the condenser to regenerate the desiccant wheel.

Our dehumidifiers are custom built, with programmable systems tailored to the specific needs. The boundaries of these systems are typically dictated by the temperature and the dew point.
