Land Rover Case Study

Land Rover is world renowned company, producing vehicles with a cross country capability for markets throughout the world. The steel used in manufacture was stored in a warehouse using a dry heat system. Corrosion was taking place and Desiccant was approached to provide a solution.

The solution was to maintain the humidity in the warehouse. 3 x DryAir 10,000VRF units were supplied. This system was revolutionary as a dry heat system had always been used. Inside the warehouse a temperature of 11degC over the ambient temperature had to be maintained.

Dehumidification resulted in an 80% saving in running costs.
